Description

Triumphi, é um poema alegórico composto na terza rima dantesca e, assim como o Canzoniere, também escrito no italiano. O poema é divido em doze capítulos, que foram seis visões que o poeta teve enquanto sonhava, assim temos seis triunfos, cada alegoria derrota a anterior, do modo que o Triunfo do Amor é triunfado pela força alegórica do Triunfo da Castidade, que por sua vez, é vencida pela Morte; a Morte é vencida pela fama; a Fama é conquistada pelo Tempo; e o tempo é superado pela Eternidade.
